Steve was born in Uvalde, TX. and was brought up in church. His father pastored, evangelized, and built churches throughout Texas, and his mother read scripture to her seven boys every night. As a young adult he began to study the Bible, not for memorization but for revelation, under his mentor, Austin Grant. Steve has been active, serving the body of Christ for over 50 years. At age 33, he began to teach at the summer conventions of the International Deliverance Church in Dallas. He has been pastor, associate pastor, evangelist, choir director and worship leader, but his greatest joy is teaching God’s word and its truths. Steve resides in Dallas with his wife, Cathy. They have 7 daughters, 20 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
