Ron Crumpler was born and raised in a small town in south Arkansas. He graduated from Smackover High school and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Arkansas. He worked at Dow Chemical for 20 years and took early retirement at the age of 45 as a Director on the Global Operations Board responsible for Global business Integration. After “retirement” from Dow, He started Systems Engineering, a consulting company that helped fortune 500 companies integrate their business processes by using computer software designed to communicate worldwide.
After selling SEI to a major consulting firm, he ran the company’s global consulting department for two years and then joined Electronic Data Systems (EDS) as the global manager for consulting with fortune 500 corporations. After two years, he along with two partners built a multimillion-dollar consulting firm in less than two years and sold the firm to a Cleveland firm. He served as a senior VP for the firm responsible for business development for the southeast quadrant of the US.
In 1999, while driving through Atlanta, GA, he developed double vision and after seeing a doctor discovered he had a rare disease called Myasthenia Gravis, a neurological disease the cause the brain to stop communicating with muscles groups. That day in Atlanta was his last day of work in the consulting business. From there he retired to his 200-acre Ranch Resort in Canton, Texas. Today Ron is truly retired after selling the ranch and moving into a small home in Canton with his wife Rose.
