Rev Dr. Ed Hird has served as the Rector of St. Simon’s Church North Vancouver since 1987. Janice, as a professional musician, has been the St. Simon’s Music Director for many years. Ed is a Past President for Alpha Canada, and served as the National Chair for Anglican Renewal Ministries of Canada. For the past 30 years, Ed has been privileged to write over 500 articles for numerous newspapers. He is an award-winning author of Battle for the Soul of Canada and the sequel Restoring Health: Body, Mind and Spirit. Ed received his Doctor of Ministry in 2013, focusing on Family Systems Theory. We have had the opportunity to lead conferences and retreats on marriage and renewal in Canada, USA, and overseas.
