I dedicate this book to my husband, Fred, whose love and loyalty were mine for almost a half century, even as iron was sharpening iron.
My family has always been, and will forever be, a constant source of joy, blessing, and support. My husband and I had the pleasure of living most of our lives in our hometown. I am thankful that at one time four generations of the family were able to interact with each other in various ways and places, remembering each other’s life stories, celebrating different occasions, or grieving losses together. Whether playing with our darling grandchildren (now in college), enjoying our grown-up son and daughter, or helping parents and grandparents in the golden years, many were the opportunities and moments to Thank and Trust our Sovereign God! Great is His faithfulness!
