BISAC SUBJECT CODES – The BISAC Subject Heading List is industry-approved and facilitates the publishing and distribution process. The lists of subject headings are each represented by a nine-character alphanumeric code. The overall list has 50 major headings. Most are listed below. Within each major subject heading are of detailed descriptors representing subtopics that the BISAC Subject Heading Committee has deemed most appropriate for the major topic.
BOOK IDENTIFIERS – Consist of the International Standard Book Number (ISBN), Library of Congress Number (LCN), and U.S. Copyright. Using your ISBNs as identifiers, we print as orders are received from wholesalers, retailers or consumers so you’re never out of stock of a desired book.
