Mike was born in Monticello, Arkansas but his parents relocated to Dallas in 1963 and he graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1967. Mike graduated from Texas Tech in 1971 where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and earned a degree in marketing. Mike has enjoyed a successful business career as an insurance broker for over forty-five years, specializing in employee benefit plans and executive compensation.
He still lives in East Dallas with his wife of thirty-nine years, Sandra, a former model and current local actress. The Looney’s have three daughters and six grandchildren.
