On our own we can accomplish good things, but only as we are surrendered to Him can we undertake God things. God’s not a Sheriff, who wants to bust us for violating the law, He’s a Shepherd who wants to apprehend us to do His will. The bottom line is, “He must become greater; I must become less…” (John 3:30)

The life of surrender is an unending process of exchanging more of me for more of Him.
