Ryan Sanders’ circuitous career path through journalism, advertising and ministry has left him with a deep conviction that, in the long run, openness and listening trump suspicion and blaming.
Ryan has written speeches for a professional sports team owner and a university commencement speaker. His reporting for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram has won awards in community journalism. His fiction has won the Lu Spurlock Prize from the Dallas / Fort Worth area’s Trinity Writer’s Workshop.
He lives with his wife, two children, two guinea pigs, and a Beagle in a religiously diverse neighborhood in Irving, Texas, where he serves as Small Groups Pastor at Irving Bible Church.
