J. R. Moore was born and raised in the piney woods of East Texas, where she still resides. She travels a lot, but is always happy to get back home. She enjoys playing with her two dogs, sewing and writing science fiction novels. J.R. is from a large, close East Texas Family, and has many beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren, who keep her heart young and her mind spry.
