Christena Dowsett is a freelance photojournalist based in East Africa. After graduating from the University of North Texas with a degree in photojournalism, she worked two years as a staff photographer for a U.S newspaper in Northeast Texas. In 2012, she took the plunge and moved halfway across the world to follow her dream as a humanitarian.
